I recently had the misfortune to contract Guillen-Barre Syndrome which is a rare viral infection which effectively attacks the nervous system leaving you nearly paralysed. A & E quickly diagnosed my condition after CT scan & bloods I was transferred to the Harvey Ward. I cannot praise enough the whole staff of this ward for their caring, professional attention - nothing was ever too much trouble. After 5 days of IV immunoglobin I recovered 90 percent of my mobility and am now at home quickly recovering my stamina through physiotherapy. Thank you Medway Hospital and our wonderful NHS.
"Excellent diagnosis & treatment"
