I was referred to dermatology because I had a swelling on my upper lip. I first attended Monklands District General Hospital in Airdrie at the Medical Illustration Department where pictures were taken of my lip and sent to the Dermatology Department.
I then received and appointment for early September 2014 and after the consultation was informed they had a cancellation that afternoon.
The swelling was removed and stitched. All of the staff were very friendly and efficient.
