after receiving the news that my care coordinator had retired…. my intro with my recovery coordinator started with the change of name and approach…..there was a lack of empathy and care from the start it was all about moving me through the system to open up the waiting list and reduce or indeed remove any sense of support from the role…. every conflict was put down to my mental health problem…. as opposed to an extreme cut in service which was in my view delivered poorly…..the culmination today was my mental health review where my coordinator got my name wrong in five occasions until she was reminded by the psychologist present and she managed to get it right once…. her style was hostile…but it was projected onto me..she would ask me questions and then say there was no time for me to answer…refute a phrase she had used minutes before…in short it was crazy making. I am angry but I profoundly believe this is a caring woman unravelling under the pressure of a system where the care and the heart has been taken out of her role…. her job is now impossible and I feel she is taking it out on me
