"Wansbeck Hospital A&E "

About: Wansbeck Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

Just home after being seen in A&E after my daughter had a nasty fall from her horse tonight.

I wanted to say how fantastic all of the staff have been and how quickly and efficiently she was seen, from the lovely girl on the reception desk, the triage nurse, the Dr (Shelley Meikle) to the porter and the staff in x ray when she had a CT scan - every member of staff was kind, caring and professional.

Where else in the world would you just turn up, not pay, and receive such world class treatment? Not to mention this was a busy Friday night.

Thanks to each one of you for looking after my daughter so well.

Dear Swal,

I am so glad that your daughter is ok - a serious fall from her horse must have been pretty frightening for you all.

Thanks so much for taking the time to give us this lovely feedback. I love how you have acknowledged the contribution of everyone in the team from the warm receptionist and porter to the excellent doctor - we all have a part to play in delivering excellence and I feel very proud that you have found every single member of our staff to be kind, caring and professional. That is exactly how we want our care to always be delivered.

Your thoughtful observations enable me to celebrate this with the team concerned who will be really chuffed to hear what a difference they have made. Thank you.

I do hope your daughter is back in the saddle soon and enjoying her horse once more,

Annie
