My name is Dave. I have lung fibrosis. When I was first told about it I didnt know which way to turn. I felt I had been dropped in the middle of a field and no-one was there to help me. My doctor asked me to go to the hospice. When I got there I was very suprised what a lovely friendly place it was. I had a short time as an inpatient. They run round you and nothing is too much trouble for them. They tell you everything you want to know. Thank you so much to the staff, doctors and volunteers, they are all just fabulous. I think without their help I would have given up. Do not be afraid to ask for help. These people become your friends and that's what counts.
