About: Astley Ainslie Hospital / Rehabilitation

(as the patient),

After a near-fatal motorbike accident, I was asisted twice at the SMART centre at Astley Ainslie Hospital in Edinburgh. At the first appointment, I was given invaluable assistance in getting back to driving with hand controls. After 2 years, I had another appointment where I was assessed as fit to drive again on a full license.

Thank you again for your positive feedback. I now understand why you are called "Luckybiker". I am really pleased that the SMART centre were able to help you and you are now back to being able to drive without hand controls. I will forward your kind comments on to the staff at the SMART centre.
