I was suffering from a very distressing panic attack in Mid-October; At which point my therapist contacted Doncaster Crisis Resolutions and Home Treatment Team for support during this rough period.
She arranged for them to telephone me later in the day to arrange for someone to come out; However after three days of waiting no such call was received.
I eventually received a letter explaining that they had tried to make contact by telephone on a number of occasions, got no response and could I get in touch to arrange an appointment; I did this and was informed that three calls had been made and messages left.
However, there was no evidence of any such contact on either our landline or mobiles; I explained this and received a couple of immediate apologies.
My concern is if my condition had worsened there would have been no help or support whatsoever; leading to possible self harm or a suicide attempt on my part; not forgetting if other people at that time or in future find themselves in the same position.
