"being myself at Lings Bar"

About: Lings Bar Hospital / Inpatient Nursing and Rehab (Lings Bar)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I like things to be private, but you can’t do it in here. They want to know everything. You can’t know everything about a person in that short time, can you?

I like to read, sometimes I can find a quiet corner to be on my own but they always find me.

Thank you for your posting.

Our ward staff do try and maintain a patient's privacy as much as they possibly can; however it is important that they understand your physical and care needs to enable them to plan your care whilst you are here with us and also to make plans to support your safe discharge when the time comes.

Hospitals are often busy places, we do have comfortable patient day rooms on each of our wards, I do hope that you can continue to find a quiet place to read when time allows.

We do appreciate you sharing your comments with us.
