I was admitted to Ward 6 last Tuesday and spent 7 days there.
I was treated very well by the nursing/other staff who worked there. 99% of the staff who dealt with me showed on a daily basis that they were in the correct profession. Caring, diligent, hard working and responsible are only a few of the words that sum up day to day dealing with me.
The skills they displayed amazed me - caring - juggling priorities - multitasking - cleaning - feeding - tending - empathy - diplomats - communicators - arbitrators - you name it, they did it. All of this for over 12 hours a day - each day - non stop. I cannot praise them highly enough.
Thanks to Maureen, Laura, Lisa, Anne and the many others (who's names I have forgotten) for their time, care and attention, it was very much appreciated at a worrying time.
