"Visitors: please consider your own personal cleanliness"

I notice many visitors that come into the hospital take no consideration into their own personal cleanliness. May I suggest that friends and relatives visiting the hospital wear clean clothes, free of dirt and animal hair?

I have noted some opinions on here where the authors are quick to berate staff for wearing uniforms outside of work on lunch breaks etc, however I do not believe that this causes as much cross contamination as dirty visitors. Some visitors do not even wash their hands before entering a ward and touching their sick relative.

I hope any visitors to the hospital will read this and take on board my suggestion.
