My father is 77 and has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Hes still quite active and would rather drive to his appointments. But not only is the car park the furthest away from the Linda McCartney centre he also has to pay full parking prices even considering he has a disabled badge. If he has to attend the hospital frequently for chemo he is paying on average 3 to 5 pounds if not more for each visit. Why is it not free or subsidised for people with actual appointments. Its disgusting that not only as a pensioner he now has to pay for the privelage to receieve treatment before he passes
