Having received excellent treatment in the Cardiac and Endoscopy departments, I was not disappointed with Haematology. The referral period of, I think, 5 weeks for a non urgent consultation was very acceptable. The receptionist was pleasant. The Sir George Ogden Macmillan Centre was like a 5* hotel in terms of the waiting area. I only had to wait a few minutes before I saw the specialist. Both she and the nurse were very helpful and put my mind at rest with regard to the possible treatment I may have to undergo. To be given a choice for the time of the next consultation was a surprise. Once again, I had free parking! I wish people would stop criticising the NHS. Perhaps it is because they cannot use Harrogate District Hospital!
"Excellent treatment once again."
