"A Week Menu"

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I've been on Redwood 1 recently. There is a confusion in the menu system because there are three sets of menus up on the board for three different weeks. The trouble is when you arrive you don't know whether you are on week 1, week 2 or week 3.

A possible solution would be to have a sign saying 'this weeks menu'. Even if you had a sign for 'next week's menu'; this could cause confusion as people might think that it had been left up and so the confusion would start again.

A soluntion to this would a general sign with 'this weeks menu' with only one laminated board and for this to be changed each week.

Other than that the food is good and the staff are fantasitc and really caring!

Hello,

thank you for this post, I went in to the Kitchen on redwood 1 to discuss this with staff who were serving lunch at the time. They too stated they had seen 3 labels stating 'Week 1', Week 2' and 'Week 3' however they were unsure where they had gone. So my apologies for this, I have asked that signs be reprinted off and they be displayed up in the dining room each week with the corresponding Week and changed at the beggining of the week. When there are more pessing matters in peoples lives, this is a confusion that is unnecessary.

As a final note it was lovely to hear that the food was 'good and the Staff were supportive to you too.
