"Outstanding care at Emergency Gynaecology Unit and Early Pregnancy Unit"

(as the patient),

The service I received at both the Emergency Gynaecology Unit and the Early Pregnancy Unit at St Mary's Hospital (Manchester) has been absolutely outstanding.

The speed at which I was seen surpassed my expectations by far, given the media hype of late. I was transferred to the EGU within 10 minutes of arriving at A&E and I had an appointment arranged at the EPU the following morning.

In addition, the staff were incredibly kind, supportive and knowledgeable. In particular, Sister Whittaker on Ward 62 deserves special recognition.

I cannot recommend this hospital enough. I will be eternally grateful. Save the NHS!

It was reassuring to hear that you thought the care you received was kind, supportive and knowledgeable. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Mrs Pam Kilcoyne the Lead Nurse for Gynaecology so she can share this with the staff on EGU, EPU and Sister Whittaker.
