I had my gallbladder removed after 6/7 months of constant pain and alot of hospital admissions. Being passed from pillar to post from different surgeons. Was told it could be done at my local hospital, then a few weeks later I was admitted again and then was told another surgeon had to do it, so he sent me home to wait for a date etc.... then I was admitted again about 4 weeks later with agonising pain to then be told I had to have the operation at a London hospital, I stayed in hospital for a week on IV medication. I was admitted about 7-10times in the 6/7 months of having gallstones. The day before being discharged I was told the original surgeon could now do the operation at my local hospital. So in December 2014 I finally had the surgery and all going well but I'm not happy with the way the hospital and surgeons had treated me.
