My initial treatment in A&E was excellent. The fracture clinic was busy but somewhat impersonal. First visit OK but second resulted in my being told to remove my splint and exercise. Result was original deformity plus swelling and pain. I was invited to attend occupational treatment for the prescribed exercise on an injury that had been considered OK to commence exercise sessions. At my first appt my injury was observed to be in need of splinting for a further 8 weeks. Excellent initial treatment was overshadowed by follow-on care that was not consistent or of the original high standard. My sincere thanks to A&E staff and Occupational therapy treatment My treatment could not have been in better hands than those of the O/T
"Excellent A&E but follow up needs reviewing"
