"There is no continuity"

About: Merseyside

(as other),

This surgery used to be very good. You could see the same GP, maybe wait an extra day or two. Now I have seen 5 or 6 GPs since January, and most don’t know me. A lot of the GPs that were familiar have gone, there is no continuity.

One GP prescribed medication even though I said I would react to it, but they still prescribed it. I then did react to it and had to go to the walk-in centre. The GP did apologise afterwards, but I hadn’t been listened to.

I’ve also had to wait 2 weeks for blood test results, I had to get them over the phone. I would have preferred to see a GP to be able to discuss the results, but there were no appointments available.
