I had this procedure in October, pain free I might add. It did not work. Then after speaking to my consultant telling him it did not work I was then referred to have open colsuspention. This procedure was done in March it also did not work! I met my consultant with my husband in March devastated that within the week I knew this also had not worked! We were reassured that my case would be presented to Aprils Multi Disciplinary Meeting. However this did not happen till July the 3rd. I did as promised have a phone call from the consultant of the outcome! An appointment within the week for urodynamics yet again this has not happened! I phoned on Tuesday to speak to the consultant, no return phone call. I have to say that the very nature of my problem, as am sure a lot of women have it, takes a great deal of courage to approach your GP. Usually 4 years after the problem has presented itself.
My relationship with my husband has suffered considerably as their is no spontaneous relations unless I shower before hand taking away any spontaneous from our marriage.
In my job I have seen and witnessed a huge amount of women that simply put up and shut up with "the Problem" I have to say that I could also do the same.
However I don't want to put up and shut up I would love to have a relationship with with my husband that did not revolve around showering! !
"I don't want to put up and shut up"
