I was stunned by how different an NHS patient is treated at Holly House compared to
NHS hospitals, I felt fully confident that everyone knew what they were doing and did it well. I had my gallbladder removed and felt very well looked after. My only slight criticism was nurses trying to give me morphine when I didn't need it - I hate the way it makes me feel and one nurse was huffy when I refused it, this made me feel uncomfortable and also my bed was broken and couldn't be adjusted, I wonder if I was paying for my treatment they would've left me in a broken bed???
