My father was admitted onto ward 37, North Tees Hospital in August 2015 and remained there till discharge to another unit on or around 18th September.
As I worked in the hospital I was allowed to visit on a regular basis and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, and gave me on going information about his care.
One staff nurse in particular was excellent and my dad appreciated everything they did for him, along with the other members of the team including the Drs and domestic staff.
Nothing was a bother to them.
When it come to giving us some very bad new it was done with sincere care & compassion. The Dr who gave us the news of dads results did it in a dignified way once again with genuine compassion which we as a family greatly appreciated which included my dad.
We were included in all the decisions of his care and the communication was excellent.
As a family we really appreciated the excellent care and support we received in this ward and I know dad really wanted to stay there to continue his treatment, but for his own benefit he needed to go to a re-hab facility.
I would 100% recommend this ward to my family and friends as thank you is not enough
