My mother was recently taken ill whilst on holiday and was admitted to Dunlop Ward at Torbay Hospital.
I cannot praise the hospital enough.
The Consultant, Doctors and Nurses were all extremely competent and very approachable.
It was especially reassuring that the same team of staff were always allocated to that ward therefore enabling both my mother and myself to build up a good rapport and level of trust, unlike other hospitals where staff seem to constantly be changing.
The support staff were equally as competent and thus created an environment which eased the pain of a very difficult time.
I can't even fault the food.
I would like to thank everyone who helped especially the discharge nurse who organised the ongoing transport to my home hospital.
