"Elm ward breast clinic"

About: King George Hospital

I have just returned home from my breast clinic appointment at the above clinic and the first thing I wanted to do was go on line to rave about the fantastic care I have received there this morning.

I was referred to this clinic by my doctor only 8 days ago....wow how fast was that, and to top it all I was offered a Saturday morning appointment...even more fantastic.

The clinic is spotlessly clean, bright, modern and extremely friendly....from the reception staff to the nurses/specialist everyone was happy, helpful and very caring.

Luckily for me I had cysts which were removed by a tiny needle in my breast...a little discomfort but hey it was worth it.

Our hospitals and all the staff who work there need to have positive feedback as let's face it many a miserable sod would soon complain having to wait an extra half hour for an appointment but when your receiving such great care you would be more upset to have your appointment rushed just to stick to the schedule.

If you have an appointment at this clinic don't be afraid, you will be looked after as good as private healthcare so hopefully my review will have made you feel a little more at ease for your upcoming visit.

Good luck to all future patients, you will be in good caring hands.

Thank you for commenting on NHS Choices. I'm so pleased you received excellent care, and that you also felt supported at what must have been a frightening time for you. The staff are always grateful for feedback, it really does make their job worthwhile

Yours sincerely

Wendy Matthews Interim Chief Nurse
