I recently had a hernia operation at the Nottingham City Hospital, and would like to praise all concerned with making it a painless and dare I say almost pleasant experience. From initial diagnosis I was offered alternative dates and procedures -opting for keyhole surgery. All was explained pretty efficiently and I chose the date of June 1st '07.
I arrived at 7.30am and from that moment until I was picked up at 3.00pm, I could not praise enough the staff, care, attention, the comfortable waiting/sitting rooms, recovery procedures and the professionalism, particularly of the specialists, the anaethetist and surgeon Dr. Shetana (who was recommended on my initial visit and whom I would also like to recommend).
I am now in my second week off work and will be returning to work on monday in a hopefully a fully fit condition.
Top class - Thanks
"Mr D H Watkins"
