"Nursing Much better than Meals at Barnsley"

My name is Lucy Hainsworth, and I am the Forum Support Officer for Barnsley Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) in Health Forums. The Forums are a group of volunteers set-up by the government to independently monitor the NHS and involves public opinion in decisions which are made by the NHS on a local level, these include issues such as Hospital Disabled Toilet facilities (which are now undergoing refurbishment at Barnsley Hosptial) etc. We are hoping to undertake a project to look at Assistance with feeding for vulnerable patients at Barnsley Hospital, and across South Yorkshire, to see whether there is a need for improvement in the help they recieve, to ensure that the patients are made more comfortable, and recieve the nutrients they need in order to recover. I notice that you have commented on the poor food at Barnsley Hospital, and wondered if you would be willing to expand on this (anonymously) to help us in this project.
