I had been house bound for about 4/5 years with severe Panic Disorder, Agraphobia, PTSD and other Anxiety Problems. I was terrified of waking up in the morning as I knew what the day was going to be like. My mum wrote a letter to the Community Mental Health team asking for help. I was introduced to Lesley-Anne and Corine who encouraged me to leave the house for walks and supported me. I managed to start taking Setraline as I couldn't have in the past as I was terrified it would kill me. With the time spent with these two nurses I now manage to look forward to things. I can even drive short distances on my own and at the moment I am aiming to start shopping on my own. This hasn't been a thing I have done in about 8 years sadly. But what these nurses gave me was hope and the confidence to believe that I can do these things again. My family have supported me through this terrible illness but it was wonderful that the worry was taken off them when I had the support of these two wonderful nurses. I can't thank your service enough.
