Good with funding diagnostics but be careful, if the clinical code is not on their list you will not get treatment, even if the condition is the same and the treatment cheaper.
NHS waiting list was long for my condition so I went to one of contracted hospitals.
When I gave Benenden the clinical codes given by the Consultant they were not covered although would treat the same condition and no more expensive than the codes Benenden would pay for, no flexibility or discretion allowed.
Seems like a waste of money each month with Benenden because if you need to go back to the NHS and you have been private you cannot queue jump from the private sector and will need to start again.
Seems pointless, might as well go through the NHS to start or get proper health insurance.
Going through Benenden for diagnostics has just wasted time as you will need to back to the NHS and start again.
