"On 2 occasions I have been asked ..."

About: Ainsdale Centre For Health and Wellbeing

(as the patient),

What I liked On 2 occasions I have been asked to go for blood tests at Ainsdale Centre for Health & Well Being. On both occasions I was asked to go back and have the tests repeated as mistakes were made. On the first occasion not enough blood was taken for the tests required. On the second occasion the bloods were stored in the wrong containers and therefore useless. (The tests are for a potentially life threatening hereditary disorder which has seen a family member on life support in Preston Hospital in the last month). The centre was unhelpfil and unwilling to react to this quickly and would only offer routine appointments some of which were nearly 2 months in advance or at time when it was not possible to attend. Surely if a mistake has been made of this significance you would hope that a 'Centre for Health and Well Being' would act accordingly and try to accommodate for their mistakes. What could be improved? Be more flexible especially when they make a mistake. Offer early morning appointments or late afternoon when people who work are able to attend.
