"Trauma Ward"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a relative),

I'm so grateful to all on the Trauma ward at John Radcliffe for the care my husband is receiving for a broken tibia. The nurses are so patient, and he's delighted that there's a vegan option for meals.

The only fault I can find is that it's difficult for a first time visitor to find your way around; it'd also be helpful to have signs towards bus stops as not everyone visits by car.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are delighted to hear how patient the nurses have been, and that your husband was pleasantly surprised with the meal options in the Trauma Ward. We aim to ensure that compassionate excellence is delivered to every patient in our care from all levels of staff. We are pleased that this was performed in your husband’s case.

We will most certainly pass your feedback on to the relevant team.

Thank you also for your feedback regarding signage and public transport. If you wish to take this concern further, please do not hesitate to contact the

Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01865 221473 or at palsjr@ouh.nhs.uk and a PALS Officer will be happy to help.

We hope that your husband continues to recover well and wish you both well for the future.
