I had a horrible experience at this clinic (specifically gynaecology 2). There was no empathy or compassion from the staff at all. Firstly you are treated as though you are on a production line, called in and out with no welcome or niceties. As part of this experience you are called in and back to the waiting room around 3 times. Everything is matter-of-factly and not once was there any ounce of emotion or dignity in dealing with you, in fact there was absolutely no emotion towards you at all - they were all like robots. I am a professional, hard working 27 year old and they treated me like a 13 year old drug addict who had disobeyed her parents. The doctor i saw was very patronising and offered no counselling service whatsoever (despite it being called a 'counselling' service) I was facing one of the biggest decisions of my life and not once did they discuss any other path apart from the one they said i should take, despite my reluctance. I said i was 98% sure i didn't want to do that and could i have time to think but they forced me to make the appointment anyway. They wouldn't even give me time to think and wouldn't even let me discuss with my partner. Thankfully i have now cancelled my appointment and chosen the path for myself, but I am reluctant to ever come back here again and couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough. I feel like if i was a naive 16 year old girl then i would have gone along with whatever they said. That isn't right.
"No empathy or compassion"
