"Can't get an appointment at my GP practice"

I tried to get an appointment at Ellergreen GP practice. I've not been well and on antibiotics, had to go to the walk-in centre before and now needed a doctor to have a look at me. I was told that there were no appointments available until in 10 days time, but I'm ill now. I went to the practice and spoke with the practice manager, and felt that I had to fight to get an appointment. I have been with the practice for several years, and this has happened before, where I went in with my young daughter and was told she couldn't be seen until I said I'd take her to Alder Hey. I find some of the staff quite rude as well. I'm thinking of changing GP practice.
