I have been a carer for X for many years. The phlebotomy services has changed with a new contract. They come out to the house.
They can now do just a fingerprick test which is wonderful. X has had so many blood tests over the year that it is hard to get blood out of him and so a finger prick test is a big improvement. They can also give us the result on the spot and adjust the medication if needed. It’s a really wonderful service.
