I tried to contact the hospital 5 times today to ensure I got an ultrasound before my next booked consultant appt. Ultrasound said they had no note and to go to the consultant. I tried but I was hung up on, then i was cut off twice, then switchboard couldn't hear me.
In desperation I called PALs and they were busy.
So as it currently stands I will see a consultant - they won't be able to see the test they requested The outpatient telephone line is antiquated and the staff on the other end are very abrupt. A totally unpleasant experience.
"Incompetent telephone admin"
