"Outstanding Care in MHDU/CCU at Wishaw General"

My Uncle was recently a patient in MHDU/CCU at Wishaw General Hospital following a heart attack. He had a complicated and difficult recovery and suffrered two further heart attacks which invloved two trips to the cath lab in Hairmyres during his admission. This was an extermely stressful and worrying time for the all the family. The care delivered by both the teams at cath lab and MHDU can only be described as outstanding. The nursing staff in MHDU in particular were absolutely excellent. The kindness and compassion they showed to my uncle and to our family was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They are an incredibly hard working team and delivered a high stanadard of care in what appeared to be an extermely busy environment. As a family we cannot thank you enough for your kindness, care and professionalism.
