My mum attended A&E on Thursday 16th June at approx 1900 following a stroke, we are Warrington residents but because her stroke was after 5pm we went to Whiston. The professional care from the staff were excellent keeping us informed at all times and making my mum who is 85 very comfortable I can’t fault the care and leadership on the Late/Night shift on that day.
After A&E we went to ward 5C the staff nurses and care was excellent . The ward was well managed and spotless and nothing was too much trouble for them, the staff had time to talk and listen to your concerns.
The last thing I would like to mention is the staff that come with drinks and dinner as they make the patient feel at ease, and have a lovely nature when talking to elderly people.
Once again thank-you all for the care you given my mum she has now been moved to Ward 5C and I am sure without a doubt that the care will be nothing but outstanding as the hospital is excellent.
Regards
