My girlfriend suffers from extreme anxiety and depression, she has found every day life extremely difficult and was reffered by her doctor, and her previous mental health teams (CAMHS), who she unfortunately had to leave after becoming 18. She was referred through the new "single point of access" scheme which is extremely inefficient and sent her to Carrick mental health team, who just shooed her away and said "Beme would be more appropriate" which also took her off the single point of access waiting list, so we had to start the whole process again.
After contacting Carrick again to complain about being sent away, after single point of access sent us to them, I was told I would be contacted in a few hours as the person we spoke to was in an appointment, that was 5 days ago. We have still heard nothing.
We then decided to contact Beme ourselves where we now have to wait 10 weeks, atleast we got a reply. If you need urgent help, good luck.
"Extremely poor service."
