"TIA Clinic / A&E"

My partner was brought into A&E via ambulance with a suspected TIA. From the ambulance crew to the A&E staff, stroke unit staff and TIA clinic staff, we could not have wished for better care. Every member of staff we met was caring, professional, compassionate and reassuring at what was a stressful time for us. We were dealt with as quickly as possible. The one-stop visit to to TIA clinic is a fantastic facility with results, advice and medication given on the same day.At a time when the NHS is under severe scrutiny I can confidently say that we experienced expert care, and as a member of UHL staff experiencing things "on the other side" it made me feel proud to work here.
