I was admitted to a+e 3 weeks ago with abdo and back pain to be sent home with no explanation other than i was pregnant,I was home 5 days to be admitted again with the same pain again to be sent home with pain killers and again i was admitted the day after 25th June to which i refused to go home until they sorted out what my pain was as they said it wasn't a urology problem but an ectopic, when i asked them to do surgery to remove my tube they found the problem,my ovary had ruptured, could you imagine what would have happened if id of carried on with the pain,i was then admitted to ward 14 who i couldn't recommend enough as the nursing staff on this ward are amazing and so helpful, this isn't my first time on this ward,i was also sent for a ct scan whilst i was on this ward which is where thy discovered i have a blood clot in my left side groin area and told i would be treated as an out patients to which i haven't received my appointment,i did however receive a phone call yesterday 12th July from the booking office to say they had a cancellation for the 13th July and would i like the appt,i agreed,i went to the appt to find i wasn't even n the system and was sent to 5 different departments for all of them to have no record of my appointment,i think the communication in this hospital is shocking between nursing staff, doctors and patients although i do think highly of the staff on ward 14 and would stay on there again if i needed to as the staff are very friendly
