About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Surgery (wards 19, 20, 24, 26 &29)

Yesterday I was referred by my GP to the RAH in Paisley. I would like to express my thanks and gratitude for the really wonderful care that I had once I was transferred up to the SAU in ward 10. Both nurses Chris and Jan were so personable, caring and a fine example of everything that is good in the NHS. I had treatment from Dr Melvin who had such a lovely manner, reassured, smiled and treated me with great results. I couldn't have asked for better care and would like them all to be told so. I personally thanked them but I wanted to let Lorna know how great their care was. Many thanks to all those in the SAU.

What a lovely thoughtful email to read, thank you. I trust and hope things are improving for you now?

The SAU team will be chuffed to hear how positive it was for you as they strive every day to provide the best care for everyone. Its reassuring for them when people take the time to share feedback and its appreciated.

I'll make sure and share this with the whole team but in particular the staff mentioned and rest assured Lorna will see it too.
