They give you an appointment letter with an out of date phone number.
Trying to get the main switchboard to answer is a nightmare. How do you expect patients to cancel appointments?

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment. I am sorry to read of the problems you encountered when trying to cancel an appointment. Please can you contact our Patient Advice and Liaison team, so that they can look into the issue relating to the incorrect number on your appointment letter.
They can be contacted on 01708 435 454 or by email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk.
