This was my first visit, having transfered to the Exeter Glaucoma Clinic from another local hosptial, I feel compelled to write and congratulate you on getting things so right.
I have suffered from glaucoma for many years and therefore have some experience of how these clinics run.
May I thank the Exeter Glaucoma team for giving me all the information I could require before my visit (knowing my appointment would last 3 hours, meant I could take a good book and settle in for a relaxing morning).
All nursing and clinical staff introduced themselves and were professional, friendly and helpful.
I could not help but be impressed with the information I personally received, with my results being discussed in full and any future issues being discussed, so that I know how to proceed in the first instance, should my condition change.
What really impressed me was the fact that patients were all engaged in conversation and rather than faced with the "medical" brick wall I have experienced in the past, I felt I could have asked anything, as nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you!
"Treated with professionalism, whilst being well..."
