"appointments"

About: St James's University Hospital

(as the patient),

Yes we have all been sent a letter after seeing your g.p. to see a specialist on the particular part of the body and the problems it's personally giving you. You arrive state your name address phone number, your g.p's name, then you told to sit and wait, does it ever occur to you that you are seeing surgeons, who may have ceased their appointments in the out-patient clinics to deal with a life threating situation thats why there may be adelay of 1hour, or more, when that happens to me i dont sit tutting, huffing or puffing, i leave and tell the receptionist i am going for a drink in the cafe. return and i wait, no one gets appointment times at the same hour or minutes on their letters to attend out-patient clinics. And PATIENCE is such a lovely virtue to have, after all the registrars, and surgeons have patience for treating and giving you the best finest treatments for you all and its free, in some countries you have to pay private health insurances . So if you are delayed, go for a walk, for a drink, it passes the delay time by,when you return you will be seen, to get those painful problems sorted out once and for all.
