"A stay on Ward 8"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

We recently came to Macclesfield Hospital as an emergency, the staff, care and treatment in A&E were brilliant. After transfer to ward 8, I can only say that they treated both my father and myself with the utmost care and compassion during our stay. The staff looked after my father so well, I couldn't have asked for more. They were the same with all the patients, and paid particular attention to people's privacy and dignity.

They also looked after me as the carer, nothing was too much trouble.

I had one worry which I brought up with the PALS team. They sorted it out immediately.

A big thank you to everyone at the hospital, we are very lucky to have such facilities in east Cheshire.
