Dear Patsy I had incontinence problems, also and I had 2 operations, for it, successful ones. I had mine by explaining the quality of life I was having, the embarrassing situations you have, and I sat there in my GP’s room and asked outright, to be sent somewhere to get it sorted, and got it sorted I did. I was willing to travel further afield to a hospital that specialized in these problems, so go back again, try again, make that GP interested, tell him it's caused breakdown in your social life, relationships, working life, tell him you feel 90 when you’re not, keep trying, tell him you are willing to travel further afield to see a specialist. I had my operations at St James's Hospital Leeds. good luck patsy.
