"Regarding the Fowler Centre at New Cross Hospital"

About: New Cross Hospital

It shocks me how little places there are for you to be able to easily be tested without any stress or complications, as it can be a stressful and difficult time for some people, like myself.

After having gone to West Park Hospital (listed as a clinic) for 10am the day before, I was told I'm at the wrong place and had to go to the Fowler Centre in the morning. Get there for 8:30am and walk-in starts at 10am.... Fine.

I arrive just going 8:30am and no sign of it being open, so I go somewhere to sit down away from the cold. As they said, 'walk-in starts at 10am'. Come 9:40am, I make my way and what do you know? It's open. And it happens to be the same woman I saw at West park Hospital 'I'm sorry we're full'. So I express my stress and told them I had been there since 8:30am.

So they said to call back at 12pm and they 'might be' able to get me an appointment. So I did, and it took 3 phone calls before I got through to someone. Got put on hold for a few minutes and then they cut me off. Call back for the 4th time, put me on hold again, to come back and say 'Sorry, nothing today' - I didn't like their attitude on the phone whatsoever. Not a care in the world. Getting up early two days in a row for f-all help. I will never ever deal with this again. Get us a place where you can get quick and easy appointments instead of messing us around.

Atrocious.
