"Denied maternity ward tour"

I don't generally do reviews but today I will since I'm really angry about the fact that i was denied a tour of the maternity ward. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and newham gen hosp falls in the local hospital for me, so today i went there to inquire about the improvements in their maternity ward having heard all the aweful reviews. My sister in law had a miserable pregnancy case due to ignorance of the midwife 5 years back and therefore i was nervous myself to go to newham hosp. But she informed me that now their services have improved and they even gove tours to their maternity ward to females who want to register their pregnancy. I therfore went there today to relieve my concerns and give a second chance to this hopsital by having a look at the ward and the staff there! But to my dissapointment i was met by 2 receptionists of zone 4 anti natal clinic that they will not show me the ward. They straight away refused. Told me that if i want to have a look i can come at week 30 of the pregnancy and then they will allow. I mean am i insane or what or am i like the most useless person on this earth that i will get my scans done from another hospital till week 30 and then come over to newham and have a look at their ward and then decide oh i wana have my delivery here ! This was totally insane. Those two receptionists were very rude to me. I insisted i need to more abt it cuz thats the basis of my decision to register in this hosp but they outright replied me rudely and said they dont deal with all this and just ignored my questions. I heard from alot of ladies that newham has improved now for maternity services and give tours as well to concerned ladies. But well now i have decided this hopsital is a big no for me ! I wpuld never want to go back to hosp for anything. worst ever experience and useless unhelpful staff. I had even askes my technician for scan at emergency maternity if they will give me tour and show me the ward and the ultrasound technician said yes they will and give tours and guided me to zone 4. But it was utter waste of time for me!! I will now book another hospital for my delivery
