"Clyst ward"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Accident and emergency

My mother was taken into hospital by ambulance after having a stroke. She is aged 89, and I have to say the attention she received by the ambulance staff and the stroke unit in Accident and emergency through to Clyst ward where she stayed the night was fantastic. The staff were so kind and gentle With mum who was frightened and were so informative and kept us in the loop the whole time. The occupational therapists were also good, and mum came home the day after her stroke, although tired is recovering well. So well done RDE for your great staff.
