Today we took our 14 month old daughter to Disney ward for the final test after she had a urinary tract infection. We were immediately put at ease by the nursing staff, who took some information from us and informed us of what would happen. We were shown to a play area and were shown the parents room and its facilities. During the cannulation procedure the staff were professional, efficient, caring and sensitive to the needs of our family.
Special thanks to Barbara (Nurse Specialist), Lynn (Care Assistant) and Clare (Play Team).
Thank you also to the Nuclear Medicine staff who were great too.
