"All the staff were brilliant"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Accident and emergency Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My 5 month old was sent to qmc children's a and e by my doctor for being poorly where we admitted due to suspected sepsis/ menegitis.

All the staff were brilliant and looked after us both from the a and e to the children assesment ward to the ward that we was finally admitted to for our stay to my boy recovered.

Thank you to the support and care received in this time my boy is now nearly 8 months old, been rolling since 14 weeks, crawling since 5 months and cruising the furniture now as well.

What wonderful news! Thank you so much for writing in to share your experience of our children’s Emergency Department and Children’s Assessment Unit. We’re glad to hear your son has fully recovered and is doing so well. We’ve shared your kind words with both teams.

Our best wishes to you and your family,

Jane Newton (Matron, Emergency Department) & Kelly Atkins (Ward Manager, Children’s Assessment Unit)
