"Looking forward to my next appointment"

About: University Hospital Ayr / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was very apprehensive the first time I had to go to the eye clinic for treatment as it involved having an injection in the eye. However, I have now been to the clinic twice and, strange as it may sound, am now looking forward to my next appointment in a week’s time.

All the staff at the clinic are absolutely magnificent, it is a great team and my treatment and care has been very very good. They are friendly and warm, reassuring and helpful with any questions or concerns you have.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Seeded660,

Oh goodness me, we can't make people feel too comfortable in case they come more often. I am of course not serious, it is really and truly lovely to hear. From being 'very apprehensive' to 'looking forward' to your next appointment is true testament to a great team. I will be delighted to pass this on to the team so they can take the apt on the back they clearly deserve.

Thank you so much for sharing this lovely experience with us all.

Best wishes,

Eunice
