Having been fast-tracked to The Magnolia Centre following the standard 2 week referral pathway, I received an appointment later that same day and was at the hospital 8 days later.
The staff in The Magnolia Centre were all lovely and put me at my ease.
Yes, the department was busy and there was quite a bit of waiting around involved but the system seemed to flow fairly well and I didn't have an unnecessarily long wait at any point.
This breast clinic seems to offer an exemplary service to patients fully understanding that they are likely to be extremely worried and anxious regarding their referral there.
If all NHS departments could follow suit then no-one would be complaining about the NHS.
It was a brilliant service from start to finish.
